Direct Route Toll Plaza Upgrades Lane Dividers to IPL group's Quick Flex Bollards

The Condonstown Toll Plaza, located on the M8 at Watergrasshill, recently completed an upgrade to its lane dividers. The project, a collaborative effort between Direct Route Fermoy LTD and IPL Group, saw the implementation of Quick-Flex Reboundable Traffic Bollards to enhance visibility and overall road safety.

Quick-Flex bollards offer several advantages: durability, flexibility for high-impact resilience, and streamlined installation. Their reboundable polyurethane construction allows them to return to their original form after impact, minimizing maintenance requirements in the busy Condonstown Toll Plaza.

Efficient Installation with Innovative Design

Direct Route’s Term Contractor, Lagan Operations and Maintenance Ltd, implemented an innovative anchor and bolt design for the bollards. Traditional bollards often require multiple bolts; however, Quick-Flex bollards utilize a single bolt system, streamlining the installation process, reducing traffic disruptions, and simplifying future maintenance.
